I already have my wisdom teeth, but yesterday my gum all the way in the back behind my teeth is really red, swollen and there is a lil white thing sicking out a lil bit. It is very sore when i eat, drink, or do just about anything with my mouth. Will it have to be exratacted?? I also have braces and a platal expander where the extra tooth is comming in. If I get it extracted will it affect my braces and how straight my teeth are now? I only have 3 more months in braces to go!

i still have all of my wisom teeth but there is an extra one comming in...all of the wisdom teeth i have now are in good condition but this one that is growing in is giving me lots of pain and it is pushing against my other teeth!!!

It sounds like you have a good case of strep throat and not a new tooth...especially if your wisdom teeth have already grown in.
Strep throat can cause large, chunky patches of white stuff to grow in the back of your throat. It's gross. You'll also get a sore throat and alot of redness to the gums and throat.

My wisdom teeth are very far back in my mouth and there isn't room behind them for another tooth to grow. I would have your orthodontist or dentist look at it. It's simple enough to extract if need be and it wont affect how straight your teeth are.

Go see your dentist and yes it is not all that uncommon to get a second set of wisdom teeth just not everyone gets the second set.
