I realize both are quite bad, but I've recently quit smoking cigarettes in favor of smoking a pipe once in the evening. Which is worse: Pipe or cigarettes?

Smoking a cigarette is worse. When smoking a pipe, you don't inhale the smoke. You are going to be better off smoking a pipe once in the evening.

I would say smoking a pipe once is better than smoking cigarettes all day long.

Cigarettes are worse since your not suppose to in-hale a pipe or cigar. You only smoke them for the taste. this keeps your lungs in a little better shape than in-haling cigarette smoke.

Cigarettes are worse...causing lung cancer, due to inhaling. However, pipes and cigars can cause cancer of the lip, mouth, throat, etc. too.

it doesn't matter, you're still putting unhealthy chemicals into your body which can cause cancer. why don't you try to stop smoking altogether?
