recovery time is about 3-4 days can i collect disabilty for those days i was off work.

When my husband had his heart attack, I tried to get him on disability. In my state, they said he had to be out of work for a year. I was pissed off. I tried everything and every organization to get help for us. We were turned down at every corner. No one would help us. We always paid our taxes and are upstanding citizens, but when it comes to helping someone who deserves it, it's impossible. We owned our home and I was laid off from my job, but because we owned our home, we were not eligible for any kind of state aid or anything. The system sucks. We lost our home because of this. Don't depend on any support if you live in Mass. because you won't get it. They pick and choose who they want to help and we were not on their list. It's not fair. I hope someone helps you because i know what you are going through.

you may be able to collect disability. only your boss could tell you that. could surgery be scheduled for a thursday or friday so a couple of those days would be over the weekend?

no, where I work you have to be out 2 weeks before you can draw disability. Good Luck
