when i bumped my head the bump formed on my right side eyebrow and later on the right side got swollen now that i look in the mirror i notice the top part of my eye lid is blue or purple lookin wat can i do to make that heal faster? is that a black eye?

You need to put ice into a DRY towel.
Or use a frozen aromatherapy bag - it maintains the perfect temperature.
Ice itself is too cold, (which is why you see old movies and old cartoons [like Dumbo] where they put raw steak onto people's heads), so make sure it's a dry towel.
HOWEVER, if it's already blue, it's probably too late - you should've done this already, but MAYBE it'll stop it from getting worse.
AVOID ASPIRIN or anything with aspirin in it - it'll just make it worse.

Its a hematoma (bruise)
Iceing it is all you can really do
