I never know if a pair of sneakers is going to give me blisters until I walk a mile in them, so I have to buy them first. I love to walk, but I can't seem to find a pair that doesn't give me blisters after a while. One pair blisters my heeel, another pair blisters the ball of my foot.. How do you avoid this problem?

My SO has a high fever. She was really cold earlier but is now really hot to the point of tossing her comforter to the side. Should she be under and stay hot or is this a good sign? I keep telling to at least cover her feet. She's got a big headache to go along with it and is currently using a cold rag for her forehead. Only meds she's taken is Sudefed PE Severe cold

Any suggestions for ways to help me sleep.Ive been 2 my doctor & had short term sleeping tablet prescriptions but he doesnt like prescribing for any length of time.What can i do 2 help myself or get my doctor 2 do something more.Ive been 2 doctor a few times so self help suggestions would b better.

I didnt think it would be this bad, but i have been smoking for about 11 yrs and almost a pack a day. I quit 7 days ago , cold turkey and im still having pains, is this normal? its like tight pains in the lungs and gut. Almost like butterflies gone nuts! also im tired all the time and have been drinking tons of water. feels Iike i lost my best friend...I have been looking around the net for info, but id like to hear some advice from real people who quit. thank you

I have a really bad runny nose and I cant fall asleep with out it dripping all over the place.

does nasal decongestion mean it stops runny noses or starts them?
what should i take to stop my runny nose? none of the pills in the house say they stop runny noses.

I am always sleepy! (okay not always) but I get 7-8 hours of sleep and the next day while at work, I am dozing off at my desk while I type or do other work on the computer. I feel sleepy about 70% of the time that I stand up, even when I drive home from work. I tried getting 4-5 hours-that didn't help, I tried getting 8-10 hours-that didn't help either. Music played from my work computer won't help. I tried drinking coffee or soda, that made me a little bit more sleepy.
I will take any suggestion, I need help from anyone, I am out of hope and ideas.

why would my eye be twitching all day today like every 10 minutes? im not tired and theres nothing in my eye, so why do eyes twitch sometimes?

It started on friday with a general feeling of fatigue, i figured it was stress and took a nap but i would up with chiles and i didnt want to move. It was like that for the rest of the weekend and sunday night my throat was pretty scratchy and i had a 101 fever. I didn't go to class on monday and tried to rest but my fever went up to 102 and i had a deep cough and it started to hurt my chest. Today i went back to class but my fever now is still 102 but it got a little higher from before and closer to 103. The cough is getting worse and coming more frequently. My throat is pretty soar from all the coughing and i'm beginning to get a headache from it too. I was going to go to class in the morning but im pretty exausted. Should i just wait it out tonight and go?

Not all of her face is numb though. Just her eye and half way down her cheak. She also said that every once in awhileshe gets really sharp pain in her numb eye.I thought that she could have had a mini stroke but she shows no systoms other than the numbness.

i have not been able to eat for the past hour and i cant hardly move my neck. when i do it hurts..... my throat feel like its closing up....but im still able to breathe from my nose. my back is hurting and im very sleepy also i feel like throwing up and my stomach feels funny. what could this be?? i know i need to go to the doctor but right now i have no way to get to a doctor. advice needed

It started with sharp pains in my stomach from Wednesday to Friday. Saturday, I had a fever of 102, my body was shakey and VERY sore, no more stomach pains. I couldn't get out of bed. Sunday was the same thing as Saturday, but my throat started to hurt as well. Monday I could barely talk, the fever went down, and I had trouble sleeping and became a little lightheaded, but I could get out of bed. Today, I am very lightheaded, I have to hold onto something if I walk, it hurts VERY badly when I sneeze and cough.

Any suggestions of how to get rid of this mess or do you know what it may be?

I started feeling really tired this weekend but sunday night i came down with a 101 fever so i stayed out of class monday. I thought it was just a cold but later that night it rose to 102 and most of today it was 102 and eventually got to 103. It went down a but but I'm feeling worse and generally exausted, i didn't go to class today either. Plus, yesterday i started with a minor cough but now it turned into a really deep croupey cough and it comes in spells for 10 min. at a time, I have a headache and the cough is giving me a soar throat now. I was thinking i could wait it out tonight and go back to classes tomorrow but im not sure if i should call my doctor to see whats up, or im just being a baby and its a cold?

How do i get rid of a blister on the bottom of my foot. I got it because i just starting working out and i was joging/running for an hour. Are the pop-able? or any household items i could cover it with? I dont wanna go to the docter or go buy some medicine so anything homemade-household would be helpfull!

Im in great health, did some light workout on the machines at the gym, then walking down the stairs my left ear felt like it was clogged all of a sudden, I got light headed and almost fell over. After a minute I felt fine, but I never felt like that before. Is that a sign of something worse coming up or what is it?

The last few days my eye has started hurting for no reason. Actually for the past 1/2 year, probably about 10 times, at night I'll wake up and opening my eye creates a lot of pain, like my eyelid was stuck to my eye and I just ripped the two apart.

Now it's starting to happen during the day, the pain part. I look at it but nothing seems to be wrong.

Any ideas?
