Why do I feel so horrible and I quit smoking?
I recently quit smoking....its going on about 6 or 7 weeks now. During my quitting venture I have heard alot of different things. Like I heard the first week is the hardest and that after that first week all the nicotine is out f your system, but for me it was hard the first week, 2nd week easy, 3rd started to get harder, now not so much though. The weirdest thing is though is that I thought I would feel better, be able to breathe better, just not feel so tired. I sometimes now have a harder time breathing than when I smoked!! Although I don't think I will, I think to myself I might as well have kept smoking cuz I don't really feel any better.......

It's keeping my Fiancee up and it's a problem for my sleeping too as I don't get enough oxygen for a good night's sleep when I snore. I'm already taking Mucinex, Sudafed, and Benadryl before I go to bed and my Fiancee wears earplugs, but nothing seems to work. Please Help.

For many years my fingers and toes have become uncomfortable in the winter. A few years ago I found some gel packs that you heat in the micro and then put in shoes or mittens but I'm tired of them because they often leak and have to be replaced. Does anyone know of any products that are sold for this problem?

I'm writing a novel and need some help. My character is about to try and go to the bathroom alone so she can get dressed and try to leave the hospital she's in. She pulls the IV tubes from the needles. Is this possible one-handed or would she, in reality, pull the needles from her hand, too? What would happen (i.e. leaking tubes, huge mess, tons of bleeding, a lot of pain, etc.)

Also, how soon would the nurse station attendants figure out what she'd done, based on usual IV monitoring? Thanks for your help. The more detail, the better, and please list your medical credentials somewhere in your answer. Thanks again.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone have any idea? Would your blood pressure be higher if you slept for only 2-3 hours during a 24 hour period, or would it be higher if you didn't sleep at all?
