You could have a scratch on your cornea. It will feel like there's something in your eye. If you go to an optometrist, he can put this special dye in there and look to see if it's scratched.
If you have super-long eyelashes, it could also be that they just get in your eye a lot. i've had to trim mine once or twice because they're long and curl.

Buy some liquid tears and put it in your eye for a couple of days several times a day. If it is still bothering you by Monday the 5th, go to the eye doctor and get it checked. If it is a piece of dirt or an eyelash, this should wash it out.

Try daily eye drops. You can by them from any pharmacy. If you work in a dusty/grubby environment, your eyes could just need refreshing.
Alternatively, you could have a mild allergy to something. Allergies can cause gritty feeling eyes & itchiness.
Try knocking off any eye make up for a short while in case you have a mild irritation
The most important thing is not to rub them. When you rub your eye, you cause irritation on your cornea and can induce infection.

You could have a tiny pimple on the inside of your eyelid. It might be a good idea to visit your optician.
