It's what peole often call *** or come, well there's loads of slang words for it, the fluid that men produces when they ejaculate. It fertilizes the egg a woman produces and that makes a baby! If you don't want to get pregnant (or if in later life you do) it's definitely a good idea to learn about it.

If you feel too shy to ask outright, why not wait til after class and ask your teacher then. She/he will have been asked these questions lots of times before. Believe me, they would rather you really did know than pretend to know. There is never any shame in admitting you don't know or understand something. Only fools think they know everything.
