How do i get rid of a blister on the bottom of my foot. I got it because i just starting working out and i was joging/running for an hour. Are the pop-able? or any household items i could cover it with? I dont wanna go to the docter or go buy some medicine so anything homemade-household would be helpfull!

DO NOT POP YOUR BLISTERS!!!!!. It might cause scarring. they were probably caused by some irriation with your foot to the sock or shoe. Some creams work, but use something to cushion the blister. (ex. bandage, very puffy socks, cotton balls for shoes)

i get them all the time. i use a bandage and wear sandles. in a few days, the blister will strink and go away

Blisters are fluid filled to cushion your layer of skin underneath...try not to pop them as tempting as it is!!! That fluid will help protect it and heal it too and soon it will be absorbed by your body.

If the blister pops on it's own because it is on the bottom of your foot and you still gotta walk....then make sure you leave the skin over top of it to still protect that tender layer of skin underneath it. That skin will eventually all off and your new skin will be strong enough to withstand like it was before.

As far as covering it, bandaids always come off because they are usually in a high friction area. I used those burn pads you can buy - like a second skin that seals all around it. They are clear and seal over top of the whole thing. (Blisters that pop are painful just like a burn as far as I am concerned...they come from the friction/rubbing, so maybe in essence they are a burn.) Then put on a pair of socks that wick moisture away (cotton) and hopefully that will help.

Try Aloe Vera gel on it too for soothing, healing properties. That could go on the blister under that burn (second skin) pad. Hope it helps you!

from my knowledge, blisters are just pools of blood beneath the skin. take it easy and they will go away in a few days time
edit: nevermind im thinking of bruises
