Im in great health, did some light workout on the machines at the gym, then walking down the stairs my left ear felt like it was clogged all of a sudden, I got light headed and almost fell over. After a minute I felt fine, but I never felt like that before. Is that a sign of something worse coming up or what is it?

I definitely think that you have an inner ear infection and you should go to see your doctor just to be on the safe side! I don't mean to scare you,but ANYTIME that you have really strange symptoms/feelings going on with your body, you should ALWAYS make an appointment with your doctor just to make sure everything is ok. I hope you start to feel better soon and please go and see your doctor so he or she can check you over very thoroughly just to make sure everything is ok,good luck!! ;-)

Sounds like an ear infection. You can get some anti-biotics from the doctor or you can ride it out for a few weeks until it clears on its own. Dizziness is common with ear infections as it dirupted your middle ear. The middle ear sends messages to the brain telling it what posistion your head is in. There is fluid in there that sloshes around telling the brain if your right side up, upside down or tilted. That's why you are dizzy after you spin around as well, the fluid is still twirling sending message to the brain that you are still twirling even if your not.
