I have been placed on Aldomet (methyldopa) for pregnancy-induced hypertension. One of the side effects is drowsiness. I've been wicked sleepy every day I've been on it, and today, my doc upped my dosage and I've been completely WIPED. Any ideas on how to combat the overwhelming tiredness? Napping all day is wrecking my life, not to mention, it's pissing off my workmates!

Just a couple of days ago my hubby was in class and he said his heart started beating really fast.............so fast that he could see his shirt slighty move where his chest is. The weird part is that he was just sitting there............is that normal? He is very fit and works out regularly so I know he is healthy...........should I worry or not take it too seriously? Has this ever happend to anyone before?

And how can I get rid of them?
I have tried drinking water and holding my breath but it seems i still get them at least twice to three times daily and they are the painful ones. It seems that since I had my gallbladder removed that they are more frequent. does anyone know if that has some thing to do with anything?

Like 6 years ago I was sitting in a brand new lazy boy. It was continuously rocking back and forth. Of course i didn't like the chair because of this. I told my parents and they told me i was crazy. Then a couple of years later i was sitting in another chair and it started to happen again and i thought how weird this chair does it too. Well, a couple of weeks after that i was sitting on a big rock and i noticed that i was slightly rocking back and forth. The rock was firmly planted in the ground so i realized that it was me that was rocking back and forth. Tonight i have noticed twice that i have been doing it. It is a very slight rocking motion and i haven't noticed myself doing it in quite awhile. I smoke but i have no health problems like high blood pressure or anything. Do you have any idea what could be causing this?
