lately its just been drying up at first i thought i was just the dry weather..ive been back home in new zealand for a month now and its winter and its wet.. but my nose is just full of dry snot every morning and afternoon is it infected? ive never had anything like this before.

It's probably due to dry air, especially from whatever form of heating that's used in the buildings you're in during the day, and your home at night. Forced hot air heating systems are famous for drying out the air. I suggest you use a humidifier in your home (or at least your bedroom at night). If you work in a private office, you can try using one there as well. There are also nasal sprays that are made from sailine and or glycerine. Both can be used relatively frequently without any side effects. Avoid decongestant types sprays. You can become dependent on them.

You could have some type of sinus infection. You should call the doc and describe your symptoms. Maybe he can suggest over-the-counter meds so you won't have to schedule a visit.....

it sounds like the place you live in is very dry and you need a nasel decongestant to clear all that out
