That is not normal and your hubby should schedule a complete physical with his doctor. People assume that because you are in good physical condition it acts as a buffer from ailments. Pro athletes have just fallen over and died because of unknow heart ailments several times each year. Hopefully it is something minor like stress or anxiety. It is better to be sure than to be sorry.

Strange. Normally an increased heart rate is due to some form of excersize but since he was in class I would tend to doubt that was the reason. Unless of course the person teaching the class was a hottie and he was shall we say EXCITED...just kidding.

Its probably nothing, but to put yourself at ease, you could go to a doc and have him run the proper tests to see if his heart is under stress for any reason. I wouldnt worry.

You say nothing of age or stress factors ... but from your general description - I, too, would guess anxiety.

Ive had it happen to me on multiple occasions. its just out of the the blue and happens about once a year or so for me. i dunno what it is. but i havent died yet. im sure dr's will just give you some antibiotics and call it a day like they do to most things.
