During my gym class it hurts when running and stretching. When we go to our whieght room it only hurts when stretching my back. When doing my situps the pain becomes very painfull. i'v tryed to tell my mother but she seems to think that its just growing pains. i have let this go for about two months. The pain went away for all of my summer then when i started to move around a lot the pain got worse.

I have had pains in my legs since i was travelling around spain 2 months ago. I have just lost a baby at 18weeks so it started when i was pregnant. I originally thought it was something to do with being pregnant but they hurt more than ever now. I did alot of walking in spain. My legs seem to hurt more now when i walk for 10minutes or longer. If i sit down and rest while im in pain then try to get up, the pain is even worse and i can barely walk. I tried wearing different shoes/trainers but no improvement. Any ideas?

Is it possible that only 1 pair of custom orthotic shoe insoles cost as much as $450 from an Ontario specialist. I think I've been ripped off. Before getting a prescription to get these, I had inquired to my co-workers. All of them told me that specialists will generally order you 2 pairs. 1 pair for workboots and 1 pair for casual wear. They all told me that the $450 that my insuarance covers pays for both pairs in a package. I went to see a doctor with the name of a specialist that my co-workers had recomended me to deal with. I did not see my regular family doctor for getting the prescription as there is a walk-in clinic I access here from time. In there, I mentioned the specialist someone had told me about but the doctor refused to refer me to anyone but the specialist that is in the same buildin as where both operate. He told me that I was to get two pairs as a prescription. Once upstairs, the specialist tells the same. 1 week later I get one pair. Everyone now denies it was for 2

I have advanced Osteoporosis and Kyphosis. I've just started PT and would like to have a somewhat technical understanding of how the exercises I do help. I would like to find a web site that describes some of the exercises and how they help. I would also like to see diagrams of the myafasia and how massage from a PT therapist manipulates the myofasia to relax. I've been looking for such a site but cannot find one. Can you help? Thank you.

Okay, I had this bump on my eye lid for almost 5 months now,Since July 1st 07. has not went away, just always been there. it actually looks like its inside my eye lid making the bump apear on the outside. I don't know what it could be! I realized when it first showed up trust me,it wasn't hard... it hurt so bad the first few days to a week... It was a lot worse the first week making my eye swoop down funny... it still is swooped but not as much you can't really tell in less i point it out. But I never done anything about it because I thought it was from the pool... Because right after I came from the pool within that night or next day is when it started doing it... That's why I just assumed it was from the pool, and that it would go away pretty soon... because I had my eyes hurt from the pool before. The eye docter said my eyes are healthy (this was months before the bump when he said that). But does anyone know what it could be? If so, how do I get rid of it? Have you had this before?

i have had an extremly irregular period this whole month, yes it lasted all month, but yesterday it finally came full flow, i had the usual cramps and backache went to bed and i woke up feeling ok, after about an hour i have had the most god awful painfull experience in my life, i had to call my fiance home from work because i thought i needed to go to the hospital. i almost fainted three times and could not get any releif from the pain, i was crying and had many outburts of yelling and moaning i was in so much pain, i was dizzy confused and light headed, it took about 30 min for him to get home, and by that time it seemed to have subsided a little, i couldn't move so he got a heating pad and put it under me, i was exsahausted from the pain and fell asleep, i woke up about half an hour ago, the pain is somewhat gone, although i am sore and light headed. what happened to me? i was scared, will it happen again? need some input or ideas as to what might be the problem.

Hi I have had a sore knee cap for years it comes and goes. I'm not sure if it is in the bone or the joint but it gets pretty sore. It feels worse if I put pressure on my leg (left Knee) or if i bend it. It isn't a really bad pain or anything it is just really really sore.It also sometimes gets a bruise on it always in the same spot my knee cap sore. I will get to making a doctors appointment but my doctor is verry buisy and I'm not sure if it that big a deal or if it just a normal ache I notice at least 30 times a day. I am 23 and I have lower bone mineral density than normal not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Thank you for your time and consideration have a great day everyone :):):)

For about 2 years now I've been running and doing other things like swimming and biking almost everyday. I've always been in great shape my entire life (21 yrs). However, when I come home and rest for a couple hours my thighs become really uncomfortable and the only way to relieve it is to fold them (stretch out my hamstring). This is especially bad when I sleep at night. I've found that stretching before running helps, but not completely. Any ideas as to what I could do or vitamins I could take to help? Thanks a bunch!

Yesterday, my finger was injured(lawn mower bar snapped back against it) 4 finger of right hand..there was a small cut(horizontally) didn't bleed much. Its above the first knuckle.(palm side)Anyway, today it is swollen in a small circle with the scar running through it, not very red but difficult to bend and painful.
Realize all of that may be normal but how much swelling is too much.(guidelines would be helpful)
thanks
