In my left breast and the bone surrounding it and my chest..they did a chest x ray showed nothing.so the doc has put me on anti biotics for a possible infection. Its not swollen or red.The other breast is actually a bit bigger and doesnt even hurt. I am teffified of dying and i have to go get a ultrasound of the breast .the time in between is whats freaking me out. has this happened to anyone else what was it? thanks

Don't listen to him that it's cancer....only a doctor can tell you that, and if a doctor suspected it was cancer, he wouldn't give you an antibiotic - so don't freak out. It's likely that it's an infection in a lymph node or something like that. I would insist that your doctor get to the bottom of the problem though. An ultrasound is a good idea.

Well, that could be a sign of breast cancer in the left breast. If it is then I am sorry that this has happened to you and sorry!Also maybe if nothing shows up on the ultrasound then you could get another x-ray with a different doctor maybe...?Sorry!

You do not state your age, let alone if you are on the pill, married with or without children, let alone if you have PMS. Therefore I am thinking that you might have Mastitis and the treatment is antibiotics. Yes they need to figure out what is causing the inflammation hence the ultrasound, but it could just be that time of the month, or whatever pill you may or may not be on.
