failed fusion?

how can you tell if you have a failed lumbar spinal fusion? is the pain in the inscion area, or leg??
i am doing a project in biology on this, and i cant find it on any websites or books.

I've had spinal fusion several times, they do not always work. If you think you can feel movement then go to see the surgeon. I have one going on know that being watched.

The reason for spine fusion is usually extreme pain. If you end up after spinal fusion still in extreme pain, well is that a pass or a fail?
