Chiropractors have made their successes by treating many who did not respond to medical treatments. The old adage was; If all else fails, see a chiropractor. They have the same degree of education as does an md only excluding drugs. Their exposure to neurology is comparable to that of a medical neurologist. So they are well equipped to make an appropriate diagnosis and give necessary treatment. They treat the cause rather than the symptoms. They are also very effective in chronic conditions. They are very much into nutritional and dietary considerations. So do cover a wide field of treatment.

There is no quick fix for a chronic neck pain.. It will depend on what is causing the problem. Then, how long it has been there. The longer it has been present, the longer time is needed to correct the problem. Is one of the main reasons to get that attention asap when ever a problem arises. Waiting to see if it is going to get better often times complicates the issue and allows considerable inflammation to occur. This of course will delay the recovery time.

One thing you must be aware of; in any field or profession, only 10% are exceptionally proficient in what they do.

Hope this is sufficient to answer your question.

If you have a tennis ball, roll it around slowly on your neck, pushing down on it firmly. When you hit a sore spot, concentrate for about 10 seconds at a time with the tennis ball on the sore spot, by rolling it around firmly all over the sore area. It will hurt, but it will end up being a 'good' pain. This will release the tension knots in your neck.

First you need to find the 'reason' for the constant neck pain. Could be strain, could be misalignment, could be arthritis. As it is constant it would seem to be a muscular skeletal problem, therefore get it checked out before it goes beyond treatment. Good Luck
