I have always done the thing where you twist sideways, to crack your back, but I have found that that only cracks the sides of my back, and I want to crack right in the middle? What SELF techniques can I use to do this? (I.e. leaning on stairs)?? And what are something other people can do to my to crack that spot?

Last week I was cutting fish and sliced the end of my index finger and nail off. It is an open wound about alittle smaller then a dime. It started to heal and then the skin opened when it got wet. I am already on antibiotics. It is still oozing and hurts. I am trying to keep it open at night to heal..
should I try hydrogen peroxide? Heat?
Should I keep it covered during the day?

My son is 2 and a 1/2 and he gets this shooting pain up his neck and to his head. right below the right ear and above the neck . I took him to the ER adn they did a CT scan and there was nothing. The dr's think it is coming from the shoulder area. It looks like it comes up when he moves and had it 3 times today.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to stop this. Or massage points? anything please the dr's are saying just log the pain and then call them in a few days.

When I take two pain pills yes. oxycodine. I don't get a drugged feeling, I just get pain reliief. I get enough relief to be myself again. I sparkle, I am joyful. I have a bounce in my step. I find myself Putting on make up and looking pretty and ready to go out. Without pain pills I stay in bed feeling depressed.
Doctor says take more pain pills. I am scared of addiction. I don't want my happiness to depend on painpills

My son will be 3 years old in Julyand he has had this problem since he was about 15 months old..He has chronic stomach pain and constipation every time he has to poop..I've called his doctor(pediatrition) numerous times and talked with both nurses and his doctor..plus I've made several appointments to see his doctor and everytime they tell me it is his diet.

last night he was in so much pain he was screaming and turning red.. i have tried mylcon drops, motrin, a&d on his butt, diet changes(integrating more fruit and less grains), and 1 tbsp of mineral oil every couple of days..nothing seems to work and these are all suggestions from my doctor

my mom has had 5 kids and she said with us she never had this problem and my son is on the same diet my siblings and I were on.(she knows all of his problems because we currently live with her so she sees it all first hand)she too thinks there is something more to his problem. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? What do you suggest?

What can be done about the constant pain?

2007-05-20 02:18:48 · 7 answers · asked by Jerry S 1 in Pain & Pain Management

morning hours when I start rolling from one side to the other, then the pain starts within about 1 minute and becomes unbearable until I turn to the other side. Then I keep turning until I get up, then pains go away. I have tried extra calcium, magnesium, pottasium, drinking more water, vitamines, etc, but none seems to make significant difference. Any other suggestions?

I have had this "catching" pain in my lower back since my first C-section 7 years ago. It was occasional, first thing in the morning, when I swept and mopped, etc. I had a second C-section 19 mos ago and since then it has gradually gotten worse now to the point where I wake up every morning with it and often times it will wake me up from sleep. I have a hard time getting out of bed or even rolling over takes great effort. Once I get up and walk around for a while the bulk of the pain subsides but I am still left with residual dull low back pain for several hours afterwards. I do not know if the C-sections contributed to the condition or are merely coincidence. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I was unplugging my laptop. I am in Europe and the laptop is American. The adaptor slipped and the fingers on my right hand touched the metal for less than a second since I dropped it right as I made the contact with the electricity. Dropped it cuz of the shock. It felt a strong vibration in my hand and up my arm a bit.

My hand is feelin back to normal now exact that its a bit sore. I am still feeling a bit shaken up. I think I'm just very freaked out.

I just wanted to know if I should go get my self checked out by a doctor though. It was really short contact though so I'm most likely fine.

So I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about this I would like to hear back from people please.
