Degenerative disks run in my family, but I'm not sure if that's what's wrong with me. I have pain the size of a tennis ball to the right of my spine, right below the waist line. It's most aggrevated if I stand too long or when I lay on my back. The main problem, besides the pain, is when I lay on my back, I can move my right leg, but I can't lift my left leg. I literally can't. My leg will kind of shake, but it won't lift. If I slide it outward, I don't feel anything, but I can hear a popping like sound. Then, when I try to sit up, I can't unless my husband helps me, or i roll my body to either side and sit up that way. If anyone, has any idea of what could be wrong, I would greatly appreciate it! I've gone to 1 doctor and he just shrugged it off saying I wasn't 16 anymore. I feel I shouldn't be experiencing anything of this sort just yet, I'm only (just) 26 years of age! Any kind of help, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
