I'm a nurse and this is a pinched nerve. This can have shooting pains up and down your arm. Take ibuprofen for the discomfort and if you are not feeling better but worse go back to the doctor. I hope it gets better soon. Take care

There are a lot of muscles that originate around the elbow, cross the wrist and go into the hand. If you sprained your wrist you most likely stretched some muscles too and their the ones that are around the elbow.

It could be because due to your wrist sprain, you are using your elbow a lot more.

You might have pulled the ligaments that run from your wrist to your elbow. Bilateral epicondolytis ( or something like that!lol) otherwise known as "tennis elbow". THAT is my guess.....but call your doc if it keeps hurting to make sure that you don't need treatment to resolve it. Good Luck

The tendons, ligaments, and nerve endings all run up and down your arm from your shoulder, to your elbow, to your wrist, to your fingers, and back again. You most likely tweaked some of these with your injury.

once you fell did you attempt to capture your self by way of putting your palms out in front of you? And once you attempt to strengthen quite heavy issues up with the wrist, hand, or elbow does it immediately injury? If sure then i might say sure its sprained. the comparable ingredient occurred to me, i fell tried to capture myself and sprained it. It didnt injury all that plenty afterwards so i presumed no longer something replaced into incorrect, until i myself tried to strengthen some thing up, then it might injury... plenty.

When you have hurt your body in a certain place it is typical to feel the pain some where else. Take your spleen for example - it can cause pain in your shoulder. It's weird but true.
