Hi.
I have had lower back pain now for 5 yrs & I'm sick of it. The doctor can't find anything wrong, the chriopracter (SP) keeps popping it at the same spot, but says everything is fine. The x-rays show nothing. I do exercises recommended by the chrio, wear heating pads (which helps some), & take advil. I've had an upper & lower GI done (nothing wrong), it is not gas, constipation, or cramps. I feel better when I wear a corset, which makes me think it might be bad posture, but I'm not sure how to fix that (yes I have a large chest, but not so large that according to doc to harm me). I am 10 lbs over weight for my height, & eat healthy. The pain starts when I get up for the day & only sitting hunched in a chair do I feel it lessen. If I try sit-ups or curls I'm unable to move. No injuries, no accidents.I'm still able to work & function, but I would like to fix this. Does anyone have any serious answers or suggestions?

I tripped up the curb 10 days ago and as I fell I put my hands down on the floor just as a reaction. My wrist has been hurting since then, not really bad, just little twinges, and it hurts to put pressure on it to open a door or push myself up off a chair and so on.
I know time will heal, and its not a real problem, but is there anything that will help it heal a little faster?

My right hand from the tip of my thumb down to my wrist hurts really bad and is so stiff. This is the only part of the hand that hurts. To make it feel better is to crack the bones. But now when Im cracking the bones thats starting to hurt really bad. I have been to one docter he said stop cracking it. YAH thats the only way to make it feel better. The other docter said not much I can do since you dont have health ins. ANY one have a clue of what this could be it hurts bad and have any ideas to make it feel not so tense.

thank you

I have a blister on my thumb in the bend of it next to the palm of my hand it is about a nickel in dia. I received it bowling in a tourney I am not sure when it formed but I didn't notice it until the end of the 9th game. It was already popped and the skin was just a flap. I wrapped it with tape once i noticed it then put a bandaid on it when i got home. Only now it is sore, it is just raw now. What should I put on it? thank you

18 months ago I hurt myself at work. A CT scan was done and was found to have 2 protruding discs...One in my thorasic spine and one in my lumbar spine. I was in a lot of pain and have been on heavy pain killers since. A month ago another CT Scan was done and it came back there were no protruding discs. This confused me because I was still in pain. I am still working but can only manage to get through my shifts by taking painkillers. I went off my painkillers after I got the results of the second CT Scan because I thought it could be psychosematic. Two hours into my shift I was in terrible pain and not just at the site of the injury anymore, but the pain was worse and over a larger area. I had to lay on the floor to get relief. Could the second CT Scan be wrong. The first CT Scan I went for suggested an MRI Scan should be done as the protruding disc was indenting my thecal sac. No MRI was done. What do you think is and has happened. Any advice is appreciated.

I had a little spider once but it died while I was excavating to see why I'd gone deaf in one ear. I also seem to lose the ends of cotton buds lately. Following a question earlier today I'm wondering if that's where men's belly fluff comes from..

If I stand up for any prolonged amount of time (maybe 30 minutes), my lower back begins to ache and becomes weak. Are there any suggestions as to best alleviate the pain and to prevent from happening again? I want to use a trip to the Chiropractor as a last resort.

It feels like someone lit a match to the back of my leg. It last for about ten seconds then it goes away. As the days go on it feels as if the warmth starts to get hot. What the hell is this. There is no pain just heat.

I really want to run an 8k in about a week and a half. My lungs are in shape, but my shins and calfs hurt and the pain is too much to run with at about 4k. I stretch my calfs well before and after runs, but I don't know of any shin stretches. Soaking in Epsom salts hasn't worked. I've never had any training in the correct posture of running. Is there a place on the web where I could find some good diagrams and videos showing correct posture? Any other quick tips to get rid of this?

I went to the E.R. on Friday, with horrible pain in my jaw. The doctor felt my jaw (did nothing else), ordered some x-rays, didn't see anything, and told me that I had a sprain, to follow up with my regular doctor, and let me go.

The pain was really bad, so I went to another doctor in the same hospital. After examining me, he told me that I had TMJ syndrome. He gave me some muscle relaxers, and told me that I needed to see a dentist.

My question is, since I am paying all of this out of my pocket, is there something I can do about paying for the first visit, since it wasn't even the right diagnosis? Does it mean that I would have to go to court?
