I had a little spider once but it died while I was excavating to see why I'd gone deaf in one ear. I also seem to lose the ends of cotton buds lately. Following a question earlier today I'm wondering if that's where men's belly fluff comes from..

I worked at a dr office and we routinely cleaned out ears (ear lavage). once i was assisting a nurse and she pulled a gunky two inch long wad of cotton and ear wax. the nurse grabbed it with a tiny clip andpulled--it just kept coming and coming. it was so impressive she should it to everyone in the office. the women immediately said she could hear--she thought she had gone deaf in that ear.
my advice is if you keep losing cotton in your ears first stop puting it in there and second, see a dr asap. if left untreated it will cause hearing loss and possibly an infection.

Once at night I walked out of the house and a moth was flying around the porch light. That thing went right in my ear, it was freaking me out. It was stuck and I could feel it fluttering trying to get out. When I got finished doing my Freaking Out Dance, my sister took some tweezers and pulled it out.

Nothing in my ear, but tons of earwax in my husband's. No wonder he never answered when I asked him to carry ou a simple task like taking the dustbin down the lane on refuse collection day.

You shouldn't put cotton buds in your ears for that very reason.

I was fast asleep one night when a mosquito went into my ear and started buzzing! I was instantly awake and hitting my ear to try and hit it - it was so loud! Well it must have drowned in ear wax or come out, because it did stop......... but I always cover my ear to go to sleep now.
