After 35 yrs working within the NHS(emergency work) I went on a visit to Belgium and visited one of there Ambulance stations. We had a coupe of hours exchanging ideas and I was invited to return the day after for a brainstorming session,A couple of years passed and I again recieved a letter by courier to return to Belgium to recieve an award for the advice I had furnished. My question is I worked hard and long in the UK and did not or expect to get anything, but had an award from another country,Does this mean that other countries value thier workers more than the UK.

Last winter I started having issues with my right knee, growing steadily worse over time. Some days it was completely debilitating, leaving me stranded on the couch. I did see a DR, who did an X-ray, that showed nothing. He mentioned scheduling an MRI and an ultrasound, then I never heard from him again, and my life got busier so I left it alone.
Over the summer, I had almost no issues, only a mild ache once in a while.
Cold weathers back, so is the pain. I visited another DR, who did nothing more than refer me to physio, with no diagsnosis. I'm on an 8 week waiting list for physio. I do NOT trust this DR's reaction any more than the idiot I dealt with last year. I want to visit another, but have some info with me if possible.
The pain is intense, usually throbbing around the kneecap. I cannot bend my knee without intense pain, and if I do, when I move to straighten it there is an audible, loud crack that others can hear.

Any experience with issues like this appreciated. :)

I injured my back and was told I probably have a bulged disc. Since the injury I have had problems with my bladder that are slowly getting worse. It started as trouble starting my stream. Now I go a ton of times during the day, but only tiny amounts and always feel like I have to go but can't. Since yesterday I have started dribbling a bit. Usually a couple minutes after I finish. I will leave the bathroom start doing whatever and a tiny bit of urine flows out. Could this be from my back injury or something else? Any ideas on what I should do? It's becoming quite bothersome and a bit scary.

It feels like a nerve and some soft tissue get impinged, or like facet lock but most popular treatments like deep massage, chiro, physio and accupuncture seem to aggravate the symptoms rather than resolve them. History of several concussions, mva's and whiplash injuries plus anteriorly rolled shoulders and head forward posture with hyperlordosis and mild s-curve scoliosis.
