Are you taking vitamins or some sort of medication every day around the same time, before 5pm sometime? Or drinking some kind of soda? A lot of times these things can bring on such flu like symptoms. Are you depressed? Are you stressed? these things can also bring on unknown illness type symptoms. You should really see a doctor.

Out of curiosity, do you only feel sick when you get home from work? Does anyone else live there? Do they have the same symptoms? My 1st thought is carbon-monoxide poisoning, based on saying after 5:00. If your furnace is unsafe, and putting CO into the air, you would feel sick (flu-like is the 1st way to describe CO poisoning) when you were in the environment. When you get out of it, your oxygen levels return to normal. If this happens consistently, try going outside for a few minutes. If you feel better, then call your local gas con. to check your furnace. Sooner as opposed to later.

You're having an allergic reaction to something in your home, and over time it's getting worse.

It might be as simple as too much exposure to air conditioning or non-fresh air.
