Ballet will not stunt anyones growth in any way shape or form. People may have this idea in mind because most ballerinas are smaller in stature and in weight. This is not because of the activities they do as a ballerina, it's because that is the ideal body shape for the actions ballerinas perform.
So don't worry about putting your kids in ballet lessons. It's excellent exercise, it works all the muscles in your body, and is a great cardio workout. It helps with poise and posture, it's an excellent source of confidence for many young girls.

it is the fact that TOE DANCINGis not recommended at a young age because the bones have not fully developed yet
