General Health Care - September 2006

I would really like to stop, especially the illegal stuff (I know, I'm very bad). I've been trying so hard recently but I'm too weak and always go back to it when things aren't going so well.
Please give me some advice, ex-smokers of yahooland :)

he has has beem seen by cams, dieticians,health care workers,doctors but no one seems to know what to do, hes been like this from the age of 3, all he eats is chips and walkers prawn cocktail crisps. he has put so much weight on recently as hes always hungry and has started compulsory eating and yes i have tried everything from not having them in but he just eats nothing .

I am supposed to wake up for school in an hour! :(

I woke up about 2 hours ago from sharp pains in my stomach, and I feel nauseous as well. I went into the bathroom because I felt as if I was going to vomit, but I didn't. Now everytime I lie down in attempt to go back to sleep, my stomach hurts worse. I can't fall asleep because when I lie in bed, I am jumping out of it every 5 or 10 minutes to go vomit (which I still have not done!). I don't know why it doesn't hurt as bad (it does still hurt) when I am sitting/standing.. but I certainly can't sleep that way!

What can I do to make these pains and the nausea go away?

P.S. I can't just try to stay in bed and hope it goes away, because the longer I am lying there, the more unbearable the pain gets..

I have a cold sore (yes I know they are a form of herpes but so is chicken pox) I haven't gotten one in a long time. My mom use to give the horse pill L-lysine. I woke up and had it. I put chapstick on it and am taking a vitamin supplement with B2 and C and maybe some other stuff (can't read it's in Japanese, that is where I live, Japan) any other remedies????

I am fifteen and I tore it almost three months ago. I already went through physical therapy, but I'm getting mixed results from my therapist and my doctor. My doctor says it's fine for me to run as long as I wear my brace. My therapist says that I'll have to ask my doctor and she's not really keen on letting me play any sports yet.

My muscles can grow stronger. So my question is, can I start sprinting when I am strong enough? Especially during conditioning for tennis? I can't wait until I get back into the game!

Ok, so tonight I went to a yoga-lates class and this was my fourth time to be in attendance. Other than the fact that I am pitifully out of shape, I didn't have many problems. But tonight, I kept getting some serious Charlie horses in my calves, and my hips, thighs, and the arches of my feet cramped up, too. It got so bad that I would have to just lay there for awhile while everyone else kicked around because I literally couldn't move and felt like I was going to die or scream or cry or something. It sucked! What causes Charlie horses and why would I have had them so bad tonight and not the other nights? And what (besides bananas) is a good way to prevent or get rid of them? And why the heck is it called a Charlie horse anyway?

Being so fair, i use sun screen all the time, and some person had told me that anything above SPF 45 doesn't really work any better then SPF 45. I just wanted to know if this was true!! Thanks for your answers!
