Do you drink enough water? ie; not coffee or tea.

I get something similar and it seems to indicate that I'm dehydrated.

There is a natural way to get rid of tension headaches without using paracetamol or aspirin you can get it from a naturopath or a natural store its called rescue remedy. It comes in a liquid form and you place 2 drops under your tongue when u feel the tension and can use this as many times as you like during the day it's all natural and i find it works. Or you could be dehydrated and water is also a good cure drink loads to rehydrate, or if you are a smoker cut back on the ciggies. Hope this helps.

As a lot of people have said, dehydration is a BIG factor in headaches. I'm not saying sit there and drink a pint of water, but maybe carry a small bottle of water around with you (can be easily refilled with tap water) and sip at it throughout the day.

Other non-drug treatments for headaches include acupressure (do a search for "acupressure" and "headaches" and you'll come up with various diagrams of pressure points that you can use - different ones work better for different people).

Also, if you find the pain is in your sinuses, often breathing in menthol/eucalyptol vapour from rubbing something like Vicks Vaporub under your nose will open up and clear your sinuses and relieve a bit of the pressure there.

I agree with the above, get your eyes checked, make sure you drink enough water, but also make sure you stop taking the paracetamol/aspirin as these could be contributing to your headaches. There are headaches called analgesic-dependant headaches which are caused by medication to prevent them!
Also see a chiropractor/osteopath to check there's no bone disalignment and keep a diary of foods as it could be food allergy symptom too. Do these one at a time, rather than all together otherwise you won't know which stops it. Good luck.

Hi, can you tell me more about the headaches. But as a simple rule try increasing your water intake. There are a few simple techniques you can try. Firstly try the following: breath in for 5 hold for 2 breath out for 5, 3 times. Try tapping the side of your hand (the fleshy bit that yo would use to karate chop) with you other hand a few times and then under your nose (with your finger tips) 5 times each. But TFT is very effective, so is hypnotherapy to discover why you have the headaches? Contact me if you would like to know more dochsa.co.uk

How much water do you drink ? I'm not sure how much it equates to but you should be drinking around 2-3 litres a day especially when your pregant . Your probably dehydrated. Also you might find that your body is becoming dependant on the tylenol so is sending you signals that you have a headache. I'd go to your doctors for a check up. Good luck with the baby.

Get a notebook and write down everything you eat, and at what time, as well as every headache you get, what time it starts, and how bad it is on a scale of 1 to 10.

If that doesn't help, start adding your mood and events to the list. It may be a stress/tension headache. If not, add time of year, weather, etc. to the list to figure out what is causing it.

It's probably a food thing though, or caffeine, and you should be able to figure it out quickly with a notebook.

Women get head ache often due to various factors. May be because of tension, workload, worries, constipation etc. This has to be treated in the natural ways only. Any sort of medicine will not cure the recurring problem. The following steps may be taken.

1, Take lot of liquids, vegetables to avoid and get rid of constipation, if you have.
2. Take lot of cold water - say upto 3 liters a day.
3. Take bath whenever you are tired and going to get head ache.
You can take minimum 2 times or even 3 times bath - It will have lot of impact to solve the problem,
4. Try to be happy and take every thing easy.

5 FINALLY- Practice Meditation and yoga This will definitely cure not only your head ache problem but also all your ailments

Hi, I am no doctor though my late uncle helped me through the same phase. It works gradually though it works!!!

* Have a glass of warm water with Lemon the fist thing in the morning.
* Then do breathing exercises. Inhale rom one nostril and exhale from other. It's known as pranayama. It's a Yogic exercise. We get headaches when enough oxygen doesn't reach our brain.
* Avoid going outdoors. If need be, have lime water (Not cold..as it increases Sinus)
* Do breathing exercise before sleep as well and you'll sleep like a baby.

Wish you good health!

The only medication for headache is drinking plenty of H2o. Drink water as a medication (3 lts/day) not because you are thirsty! It will work. If the pain resists, seek a medical advice from your doctor. Good luck.
