I have had pain for several months in my hand - the meaty part of the palm connected to my thumb. I went to three doctors - two hand surgeons - and none said it was tendinitis. One actually said it can't be tendinits in that area of my hand because there is no tendon. However I have found several things online of people being diagnosed with tendinitis in that area of the hand. I have included a picture with the area of pain - it is the red line. Any info would be helpful - I just really want to know what the problem is since doctors don't have an answer for me. They have dismissed carpal tunnel, arthritis, fracture, cyst, etc. The pain is also starting in my other hand since I am using it while resting the original injury. It is deep muscle pain rather than joint pain - but rest doesn't seem to help and I thought it was tendinitis but doctors I guess didn't.
