I had that once. Just start lifting weights or doing pushups that worked for me.

The nerves that control your arms/hands come from the cervical spine in your neck. If one of the nerves in your neck is impinged (pinched), it can cause symptoms similiar to what you said. I would call a doctor and get a CT or MRI of your cervical spine (CT isn't as definitive as MRI, but some people can't have MRI for other health reasons) Did you recently have your neck snap or were you injured in any way with your head or neck? Injury to the head or neck can cause nerves to become impinged.
If the numbness is in your forearms and hands, it could also be something with your elbow. Tendonitis? I would call a doctor, if you can I would recommend an orthopedic doctor, and tell him about any injury and about your symptoms. It could be just trauma to the nerve, or it could be impinged. The sooner you call the better the results may be.

Poor circulation. What kind of physical condition are you in? Is your colesterol high? Are you short of breath. Is there pain? You need to go back to the doctor and be reexamined. You could have a clogged artery or a low O2 level in your blood.

Did you twist wrong? If you did try an osteopathic physician or a chiropractor for an adjustment. This happened to one of my sons as it turned out he had dislocated his second and third rib. It was cured after one treatment. Good luck.

its most probably a pinched nerve in your neck. do several chin tucks three times a day. if that doesn't help see your doctor again. there could be other causes, which require treatment.

Do you smoke? If you do quite. Smoking causes circulation problems in your legs and arms. Also check your diet...
