check out bi-polar .com My sin has it and this helped me to understand the different SYMPTOMS . I thought it was my fault with some of the things I did in raising him , here it was the disorder .. Good Luck

That's a good question because there are so many bi-polars in the world. As a matter of fact, we all might be bi-polar but some more than others. My nephew is bi-polar, and I don't remember him showing any signs until he was an adult.

really there is no such thing, the dsm requires a minimum age of 18 to diagnose anything. Not to generalize but I know that I had no Idea how to regulate my emotions as a teen and I would have wild mood swings and the sort that if I was to have them not a doc would slap that label on me.

Same as an adult. Up and down mood swings. Happy one day, down in the dumps the next day. Outgoing one day, hermit the next.

theres twoo extremes in behavior.. they child can be very very enrgtic and then depressed...
