General Health Care - July 2006

Working in a pub most nights leaves me too awake and active to sleep at night. I end up going to bed at around 5:30am and only getting a few hours sleep!!!!! Any tips few inducing drowsiness (without tablets of course!!) xxxxxxx

I have a deep split (Fissure) in the sole of my foot causing great pain. The spilt heals over and then splits open again. I can find no solution to healing this split - any ideas.

first time when we bored the same problem existed nd we closed the borings. second time also tried . againt the same problem. these 2 times boring was done by a goldsmith. but the third time we bored the ears by a gun shot at the jewellery shop. then also the problem is coming. she is now 7 years. daily these tumours r coming nd bursting out.

He is 4 years old, had a hemrroid that is now clearing up. I now have him on a high fiber diet, so his stool is soft but he still will go a day or two without a bowel movement. I don't understand why he isn't p**ping every day now. He is eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and and some proteins. I thought by now he would be more regular.

A plate dropped on my toe last week, and as a result, my toe was heavily bruised and swollen, becoming black and purple. Very very painful!

A few days later, my toe starting leaking dark blood and pus, which I guess was the dead blood cells. Also quite painful!

However, the toe nail has since become yellow and is just hanging on by a thin layer of skin. I can completely lift the nail up, although the toe underneath is still purple and bruised.

Should I just pull out the nail, or leave it, as it's so loose? I've been told to leave it, but think it's dead. I'm so concerned that one of my toes won't have a nail. Do toe nails COMPLETELY grow again, and if so, how long will it take?

Please help! I'm more concerned about the appearance of the toe and nail than the pain. I'm not quite sure what to do!

I just got this big red rash on my upper arm that itches. I have been on the computer for a while and I did not feel a bug bite me or anything. I did not see bugs either. All of a sudden, my arm starts to itch and I have this huge redish rash that itches like crazy. If something bit me what was it? And, why didn't I feel anything when it bit me?

Hi I am taking Flucloxacillin sodium Ca for an infected finger. Does anyone know if I can drink alcohol on these antibiotics? The Doc only mentioned that it might effect the pill. I'm pretty sure antibiotics used to come with a warning not to drink, but these ones havn't got anything like that written on them.

Okay, so I made the mistake of going outside barefoot. I stepped on something. It stung REALLY bad--like a bee sting, but twenty times worse. I don't know what I stepped on. I looked and saw nothing, put ice on it. I've been using Chortisone cream, applied ice, taking an antihistamine, and even tried a baking soda paste. I'm out of remedies. This thing itches so bad it's driving me nuts. It has also swollen slightly and is red. The red is not just around the bottom of my foot, but has gone up the side a little ways. Do I just have to give it time? Any ways to make it stop itching? Any ideas what it was? (I live in Wisconsin, if that helps you think of a type of insect it might have been.) Why does it itch so much more than any other insect sting I've ever had in my life? Is it possible it's infected? I don't have a fever or anything else. Thanks in advance for any help.

Okay so today i went to a damn salon. I usually go for my brazilian wax but today i couldnt get an appointment today to go get it done instead i went some other salon. That stupid ***** hurt me real bad. It took her an hour to wax me, she got $40 from me, I honestly don't even think she had a license, and now I have realllllllly bad bumps and my thing down there is really red. I am seriously in tears right now from the pain that stupid ***** put me through. Im never goin back there. Does anyone have any suggestions? where can i get over the counter meds. will aloe vera help? i need to get one right now or else Im going to go crazy. my usual wax lady charges me $25, finishes in 20 minutes and no bumps. Im sooo piist. pleaseee help

I have a really bad stomache ache, but I don't know what its from.
