No. They can become very addictive. Not to mention unhealthy for normal sleep patterns.

While over the counter sleep aids are not physically addicting, they CAN be psychologically addictive, ie your MIND thinks you can't sleep without them, and the mind is very powerful. Also, if you are taking something that is a compound drug, like the nighttime Tylenol, you run a greater risk of liver damage and stomach ulceration from the long term use of Tylenol.

usually non-Px sleep aids are Benadryl. Non-addictive and sometimes they don't work as well later on. If sleeping difficulties persist, you should see a doctor and look into the reasons for not sleeping well: stress, anxiety, breathing problems, etc.

it does. sleep has to happen on natural process.

if sleep pill is used for long time., you get addicted to it.. longer use could cramp your nervous system and regular function of your system.

to counter this., you can walk a lot or do something to work your muscles to tired.

eat food 3 hours earlier to sleep. all this can help you.

possibly it is the kind of pad you're wearing that feels uncomfortable. regularly I merely bypass to sleep wearing an continuously Infinity pad on and that i hardly even experience the pad. I merely regularly look to get blood on my undies countless the time. :

what you will find is they don't work anymore...and if they do chances are it is all in your mind...try a banana and and a glass of milk...a good book....a run after dinner....the worse thing is not sleeping....I have found in a job i hate it happens....and have changed jobs....prevention is better then any cure
