I did the same thing a couple years ago and know the following possibilities
1. you could have a DVT
2. you may need some potassium replacement. Are you
taking blood pressure or some other type of meds
which could deplete your storage of K+
3. Is it a cramp in your calf from walking or excersize?
4. It could be in your head but I doubt it.
5. If this keeps up, go to your doctor.

If it were a blood clot, the discomfort can be a lot worse once you stretch your calve muscle mass out. attempt this gently and slowly to be certain if the discomfort receives worse. If it does then bypass to the medical institution. now and again if our muscle mass cramp up on us, they can damage for some days afterwards. Is there any reason that you may want to believe that it must be a blood clot?

Definitely see a doctor. This could be a blood clot which is quite serious.
