dude...that sucks...I’ve had poison oak once before (on the left side of my face) and my sister has had it three times before(once on her face, once on her chest and once on her arm)... all you can do is wait it out and DON"T SCRATCH!! I’ve tried A LOT of remedies and none work…I’ve tried everything from musters to hairs pray....the mustered burned and the hairspray left a chemical burn on my sister arm (even though it relieved the itching for a little while) ….all you can do is suffer for the next two weeks and be careful not to spread it….sorry I couldn’t help….i hope the itching doesn’t drive you as crazy as it did me…lol

I found a link if you want to read it….it might help you more than I can, lol http://www.knoledge.org/oak/#remedies

Caladryl Clear is good to use and doesn't stain your clothing. Be sure to wash every bit of clothing you have and try not to come into contact with fabric surfaces on furniture or you might have a tough time cleaning the poison off. You should be clear of it in a couple weeks if you treat it daily.

Most of the time you just have to let it dry up on it's own. Unless it's really bad, or near your eyes, in which case you will probably have to go get a shot from the doc. Don't scratch!! It just makes it spread. And By the way, so will sweating and bathing. Get some Benadryl Spray to help stop the itch. Or some caladryl lotion to help dry it up. And try to keep cool!!
