Dear Sir,

I am 17 years old boy living in India. I used to live in Mumbai earlier which enjoys a moderate and humid climate. But since last one and half years I have shifted to a place which has extreme climate (Rajasthan).

During winter season I develop a rash and eruptions (small) all over the body any time of the day. Sometimes it occurs 2-3 times a day. This redness and rash disappears for 20-30 minutes and thereafter it subsides.. At the time of the eruptions my body generates to much heat and I feel that my body is burning. The allergic reaction occurs usually when

1.I do exercise (minimal). i.e. bending and stretching or skipping.
2.When I am nervous, excited or stressed.
3.when I am riding my bike, if I have to apply brake all of a sudden the itching and rash appears.
4.when I am in school studying.
5.when I wear woollen clothes, synthetic clothes.
6.when I have just come out of the bathroom after bath.

I had consulted a doctor in Mumbai and he told me it is Urticaria due to climatic condition and advised me to take Allegra and Levocitrizine Dihydrochloride tablets. But as I have to appear for my final exams I cannot take sedatives.

I am uncomfortable during this allergic reactions and don’t know what to do. After going through your site I am not able to understand as to what type my allergic reaction is due to. Please advise me. I would be obliged if I receive a reply from you.

I have been popping pimples, zits, and blackheads for 23 years or so, and now after popping I have gotten a few red spots on my face with little red lines coming out of it, which I assume is a broken blood vessel. Does anyone know how to repair this problem?

what is Shingles? how do you get Shingles ? Is it contagious?
any info will greatly help - a close friend has been diagnised with Shingles - has a large scar on the face - almost like a blood clot
a few tiny pimples around the forehead - need to know if it can be contracted by phisical contact - how would he have contracted it
- dont feel comfortable to ask him directly - he seems embarrassed enough -

For the last week or so I have been really itchy all over my body. There is no rash. No skin flaking or breaks. My skin looks completely normal. When i scratch, even very lightly my entire skin puffs up in the shape of my nail scratch and turns bright red and warm. It stays puffed and red and warm for 10 minutes or so then goes away.
Anyone have any ideas?

for the past couple years i have experienced a burning sensation over most part of my body. it's not a hot flash though. i don't get sick or get headaches or sweat and i don't have a fever when this happens. it's pretty much everyday. my skin feels as if it's warm like a sunburn, but without the sunburn pain. although, there is no rash or any visible change in my skin. when this burning sensation happens it makes me really irritable. does anyone know what this could be or has anyone had anything similiar to this?

Someone i know has had scabies, from another person they know. The person who i know, chose to take care of it, and said it was under control, so I thought I had no worries. But i now have a rash near my beltline, and am not sure if i am allergic to my belt buckle, or is it is scabies! I have read on the internet, and yes, i am going to a doctor ASAP, hopefully tomorrow morning. It is not very itchy at the moment,but was a few days ago. I have been puttin rubbing alcohol and polysporin on it for the past 2 days or so, until i can get to the doctor.Does anyone know if this is good? I am terribly scared and horrified :(

and now it is forming a bump on the inside... its not round though, its like a line kind of... and it hurts if i squeeze it or anything of that nature... it is also red on the outside... and i am in believeing that it is infected, but my friend (who had tons of piercings) says that it is just healing..

well i have had almost four of these before and each time i tried pop it and all that came out was an oil looking substance. it then turned into a scab and i need to know what it is. i have one currently and i haven't touched it because i know what will happen and i wash my face daily now because there is obviously something wrong with my skin. my mom will not take me to the dermatologist either. im not sure what to do to prevent these and it hurts a little when i press on it and sometimes the bum goes away if i put enough pressure on it but it comes back and it still stays red. what should i do??

I have really bad acne and I am trying so hard to get rid of it.....or at least make it somewhat go away. I have already used Proactive and that makes my face really oily. By the way, I have really oily skin. I am using something that I scrub my face with from avon in the morning and in the evening. It helps but not enough. I don't want to go to the doctor. So help me!

I've used DHC skin care for about a year and a half now. I've kept my face clean with their products, but my acne just isn't going away.

I want to try something else that directly targets my acne...
so my question is... Clearasil or Proactiv?
In terms of price, effectiveness, everything of that sort.
