Skin Conditions - January 2007

I have very dry skin and i have been to at least 3 doctors for it, but all they gave me is lotion and creams which dnt really work. Does anyone know of any treatments for dry skin? cos i havent given up yet

Well basically I have my school photo next week and my face has just come out in a load of huge spots! I use Nivea face wash twice daily and my spots just keep coming back, i have tried clean and clear products but they made me come out in a rash which is even worse. I also have a question about blackheads, I have tried steaming but I dont understand how opening your pores and then closing them again will help the blackheads to go away? When I steam I wash my face, steam for around 10 minutes and then wash my face again and splash with cold water, is that right? thanks!

My daughter has had her rash for over 2 weeks. I tried store bought ointment ,corn starch , i try to change her every 2 hrs . Nothing seems to work!!! PLEASE someone help me!! Its looking bad. Plus ever time she does num 2 i looks reder no matter how fast i change it. Someone told me let her run naked, but thats going to be a mess. She can't even sit in the tube without scratching .

I have given up smoking after 13 years! It has been 4 weeks and my skin has gradually got worse! I have dry patches and a few spots, is it because my skin no longer has the toxins in and is cleansing it self? Would a facial help to rejuvinate it and maybe clear it up a little?
