She should eat plenty of live yoghurt, and also apply it to affected area.

The essential oil of Spikenard (Nardostachys Jatamansi) is very helpful, if used daily in douches (a couple of drops), or a bath (6 drops).
Camomile infusion would be very soothing, too (just pour some hot water over - organic - camomile tea-bag, let it infuse for half an hour, then bathe in it).

She should avoid eating any product containing yeast for at least three months.

A visit to a registered homoeopath would be a great idea, if at all possible.

Best of luck.

A gynaecologist would be able to give you the right medicine after having some tests done if there is something serious. Otherwise you get vaginal wash (medicated) in medical shops. She should wash her private parts with that. Should avoid soap and hot water. Always use cold water to clean it. Avoid nylon under garments. Always use cotton undergarments. Before going to sleep she can clean it and apply some cream that a gynaecologist prescribes and should sleep without undergarments.
