Go to the dermatologist and they can inject it with something that will make it shrink and disappear in a day or two. You can't do it all the time because there is a risk of scaring but if you always have the same zit sitting around that could leave a scar too. It is probably a little cyst. Acne does that sometimes and can be hard to get rid of without a dermatologist.

putting an ice cube on it will help with the redness and swelling

try using peroxide ,it helps blackheads ,
