Skin Conditions - November 2006

My sister's heels are cracked on the outside heel of each foot. She has tried several remendies. They become painful and some people have tried crazy glue to seal them up and get rid of the pain. I'm suspicious about this, but she says it works.

She buffs them and puts the proper medication on them, but still has a problem healing them.

Does anyone know what causes this and what to do about it?

I am on a medicine that causes me to sweat. ALOT. Not my hands or feet (thank goodness) but I go to a store and all I do mop my face and forehead. It's humiliating!
I become drenched just washing the dishes or sweeping the floor. My entire body drips with it. I always have cold air around me.
I rarely went out this summer because the ac was broke.
I went to a law school graduation and sweated all my makeup off. My hair was wet like I splashed water on it. In front of 200 ppl's family's all dressed up looking perfectly snotty and I look like a wet bum!
I started crying and refused to go to the after party.
If its muggy I sweat more.
They only have special deoderant for hands/feet. Not entire bodies.
I can't go off my medicine.
I also can't live like a recluse at the age of 30.
I am seriously straining my relationship.
I shower often, use powder, wear light weight cotton, change clothes 2x a day.
Is there a medicine for chronic body sweating?
herbal or prescription?

I got these pimples from my mom. My mom had the same problem as me and hers went away when she was 18! in her country they has no acne cream. mine is like her and tried creams and i was allgeric to them, washed my face and that didnt work, took zinc for a week and nada and acne pills. i took that for a week also. my skin is the same! i have no money for dermentoligist and am getting very fed up with it everyone always comments on it.

and it's not the horriable type of acne they ae small and some r kinda big and sprawrled all over my face. i am trying tea tree oil now. and i am 14, please dont tell me it will go away by the time im 18 thats ridiuclous i dont wanna end up as my mom


please what shud i do?

I've tried Proactiv and alot of over-the counter products, but nothing really works well.

Also I've visted a derm today and she prescribed me Retinol A, Dyoxycline and Benzaclin..what are your experiences with any of these? And are they suppose to cost so much?

Overall I just want to know what experiences people have had treating their acne & the scars. Thanks ahead!

I have very oily skin and I have tried clear and clearsil, clean and clear, St. Ives, netrugena products, and water but they dont seem to work well. I want to get rid of my oily skin forever! I know its good to have oily skin because it prevents from having wrinkles at a early age, but I dont want it.

Whats the best way? No rubbing acholcol for me.....I mean, whats the best way to get rid of oily skin the whole entrie day. I also used oil absort sheets before and it seemd to work well but then....30 mintures later, its just comes back.

I shave my head every three days or so since I have thick hair and can't find a proper style that I like to fix it. I don't mind shaving my head. What really bothers me is the razor bumps i get afterward on the top part of my neck. I've already used a different kind of razor and shaving cream but I still get those irritating bumps not only do they look unatractive but they burn like heck. can someone recommend what to do. And dont say get a new style. or quit shaving your head.

Everyday, usually around night time, the bottom of my feet itch horribly. I can't scratch deep enough to take care of it, I rub my feet against carpet or rub them against a sharp edge to get rid of the feeling. There's no red...a little dry skin, but can that cause all of that? I've tried athlete's foot cream, although maybe not long enough, and have moisterized my feet in case they were too dry, but nothing works. What could this be?

My boyfriend popped it 2 days ago (it looked like a blackhead) because he always insists on popping my pimples even though I tell him not too. I had a really bad case of 'tinea' of the jock area (just beteen my anus and testes) and it had gone but it is now returning and it stings like hell, and I cant stop scratching it although the skin in badly damaged. Has anyone out there (esp guys) who have had severe jock itch before, and if so, what cures it? I've tried all the usual medicine like lamisil and daktarin and even some steroid cream from the doctor, but nothing helps! Help please, this is agony, and its embarrassing having to scratch your balls in public!
