How do I get ringworm out of my house?

We are getting a new kitten but I think that I have ringworm in the house(from a previous cat). Besides bleaching everything possible and steam cleaning is there anything else that I can do?

It is a fungus infection not an actual worm - no different than athletes foot. It was just given that name because of the circles on the skin. Keep the system healthy and it won't find a place to live on your or your animal.

Don't share towels and other such items.
