Dark spots? Like scars from cutting yourself? If that's what you mean, use Vitamin E oil/cream. After a few weeks you should notice a difference as it repairs the skin. If you mean dark spots from hair stubble...I suppose you could use Nair ;)

I don't know why you'd have dark spots from shaving? Maybe use a different shaving cream, razor or use aftershave which closes the pores. A good thing to use after shaving and is very cheap is witch hazel. it's a natural astringent and it is PH balanced. So, it makes the skin feel smoothe. you may want to use a sunscreen all year round. They say we all need it all year round, it can darken the skin and the face is exposed all the time. Good luck.

You can try using one of the Hydroxy acids (Salycilic acid or Alpha hydroxy) to encourage the dark spots to exfoliate faster. It will sting, though. You may also want to consider exfoliating with a scrub before you shave and using a new blade to cut down on damage which causes dark spots. Also, always wear sunscreen. Dark spots react to UV rays and hang around longer if you don't use sunscreen.

Holy smokes! Start by pressing more lightly. It sounds like you're engraving on your face, rather than shaving.

I really like the Neutrogena after-shave products and think something in their skin-care line might do you right.
