I learned a technique from a occupational therapist that has help me lose a old, wrinkled scar from a terrible surgery. It takes some time, and you will see the scar tissue come out in pimple like bumps. You lay your finger on the scar in the same direction the scar runs. Then you rub back and forth the so as to move the scar up and down. You want to move your finger the long way, if this makes sense, so it is going the same direction the scar runs. If you dumped a box of dry spagetti noodles on a table and ran your hand over them in one direction, you would see the lump of spagetti line up into a flat mound. Scar tissue is kind of like spagetti, it adhears in all different directions, and by rubbing it in one direction, you will cause the scar tissues to line up and become flat. You will never completely get rid of it, but it can become flat and unnoticable.

If it is an old scar then go to a dermatologist and ask if he can tell you methods for removal of the scar.

If is it a fresh scar then sometimes neosporin applied to the wound will keep it from scarring.

Depends on the type of scars. smaller ones can be taken care of by the use of Maderma cream. stretch marks (esp due to pregnancy) can be take care of by the use of Cocoa Butter.

why remove them? make up cool stories about them!

my dad has this scar on his chest and i used to ask him where he got it...he would always tell me he got stabbed in a barfight...i guess i asked him occasionally because i never really believed him
when i was grown, i mentioned it to my grandma and she laughed...she said he got that scar when he was a boy, he fell out of a tree and landed on the barbed wire fence

Moisturize (any type of lotion or oil will do)
Vitamin E (the vitamins help but it's really the moisture that's great)
Dermatologist (professionals that can help alleviate scarring)
Plastic Surgeon

Scars are supposed to be permanent. However, laser surgery can make them go away.
