I've had a acne problem for a long time now, most of it takes a few weeks stop swelling and go down and they never get yellow pust or anything. i started using this thing called Exposed Acne Treatment System. and there has been more acne than before but they all grow and are filled with pust, and the go away after 3-4 days. Is this normal or should i stop using the product.

I had surgery (lancing and removal of tissue) and was hospitalized in quarantine supposedly because of a brown recluse bite. I have had reoccurring sores supposedly due to venom still in my system(?). Hospital did blood culture-no staph present. I live in CA where the brown recluse spider doesn't. All of this happened shortly after I helped my friend with moving from back east to CA. I heard one can have sores from diabetes.

About 3 times, I swam in poluted rivers in Canada and California. Each time, my skin got itchy and got cover of many pimples.
I am just back from Puerto Rico, I swam in many areas. One was probably poluted. I got daily some new pimpes (5 days so far) but they are not itchy as usual. As usual, the first pimples were at the belt level.
I believe that my immunity system will eventually destroy that poison. Might it be possible or will I have to meet a doctor to get a prescription of a strong cream?

My husband has flat fingernails. I've never noticed this on anyone else before. Instead of having curved fingernails, he has flat ones. Does anyone know what the reason for this is? Does anyone have, or know of anyone that has flat fingernails? Is there anywhere that I can read about this??

My son fell in a cactus yesterday. We spent a lot of time removing the stingers and feel like we got them all out. this morning, there was a little red rash where each of the stingers had been. He's not in any pain but I wondered if this would go away in a few days, or if I need to do something else. I did soak and apply hand cream with aloe vera.

I recentley looked in the mirrior, about a week or so ago to find a red spot had developed on my neck.
I thought mabey a bug bit me or something and ignored it. It has gotton bigger though and when I spent the night with my friend he said it looked like a ring worm. No, that deadly sickness, but a litte fungus. He said his wife used to have some on her leg a couple of years ago.
But mine has gotton bigger and bigger, should I be worried?
What should I put on it?

It's a Dove or Olay face mask. Rub it on for 5 minutes then take it off. I'm pretty sure the mask caused it b/c after I started using it, the freckles came. Is this bad or nothing to worry about?

My cousin has a lot of acne, and needs good advice to help it go away. I am not so sure myself, though. I don't have acne and don't know myself how to prevent it or cure it.

I am 14 and take prescription medication for the acne I used to suffer with. Though the medication I am using (Retina Micro) has worked , there is a problem. I was told to use the medication for four years and that my dry skin would be a normal side effect. This is my first time of use during the winter and the somewhat cold weather in New Orleans makes matters so much worse. Before the winter, noone could tell I had dry skin (I would just put lotion on one or two times throughout the day). Now, my lotion routine no longer works as well. This problem has started within the past few days, so none of my friends have seen it. Can someone tell me something I can do over the Thanksgiving holiday?

okay , i am still in my late teens, however, i suffer from a little blemish and pimples occassionally. but i was wondering, when you get older like in your late 20's, will you still have to deal with acne, or will it eventually go away? also is it true if u fast (fruit) it will cleanse and detox ur body, making ur skin better?

My son has been in a county jail in Virginia for almost a year, has been sentenced, and is waiting to be sent to a prison. He was put on an antidepressant medication by the doctor while in jail and has not received this medication for 3 weeks. Also, recently he has contracted something that produces sores, like boils, that bleed and are very painful. When the first one appeared he was taken to the doctor and given medication that did not seem to work. He asked for something for the pain and received nothing. He was not told what this sore was and now has contracted 2 more. I am especially worried because there have been other inmates that have had these sores and they were sent back to the county that they came from. There was also an inmate in population that had AIDS and had these sore that burst and squirted blood everywhere. My son is not getting the proper medical attention that he needs and I am very concerned. I am contacting the state health department tomorrow.

A lot of times I will break out all over my chest at unexpected times of the day. I'm not sure if it's just because I have dry skin, but if something merely brushes againt my neck or chest, my skin will turn a bright red and begin to itch. I've thought about mentioning something to my doctor, but I don't want to sound hyprocondriacal. Do you think this is something I should be worried about?

My cousin was sitting on a hay bale while bird hunting last night. When he can back up to the house he had bug bites all over him (From his toes all the way to his hair line). I thought it was jiggers/chiggers, but my grandfather says otherwise. The bites range from the size of a pen mark all the way to a 50 cent piece. Can someone help me pen point what bug it was?

Cold weather makes my skin sooooooo dry. I am not big into lotions, but need something to help me before it gets to bad. I can't stand lotions that are heavy, or that smell. I need something for my body and for my face. Does anyone know of anything that will help.
