A face mask I'm using has given me freckles (I'm black.) I need help and opinions...?

It's a Dove or Olay face mask. Rub it on for 5 minutes then take it off. I'm pretty sure the mask caused it b/c after I started using it, the freckles came. Is this bad or nothing to worry about?

But I havent been in the sun lately. I stopped being in the sun frequently about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Can it take that long for freckles to show?

It s probably the sun not the mask. Freckles are cause by the sun.

I would mention it to the company.......that's weird, thanks for warning others.
