Skin Conditions - June 2006

Lately, I turn red on certain parts of my body when they are rubbed (ie. face, hands, arms, legs). I'm thinking it's a heat rash because usually putting a cold compress on the area helps ease the itch. Does anyone have any long term home remedies that might help with this "heat rash"?

I slamed my thumb on something metal and now it hurts....The nail is now half blue and started to swelling up.... all the blood won't move now....WHAT SHOULD I DO .... don't tell me to ice it because i already did...dont' tell me to go to the doctor ......TEll me what should i doo.....HELP thanks

Ok, here's the deal. I'm 28 and have never really had any acne. All of a sudden I noticed what looked like a huge holE in my face (by my nose). Well, what it was, was a huge blackhead. Sooo being the GENIUS that I am I was at work and stuck a stick pin in it. Yup, it was a hole, left by a blackhead. After I removed the pin it started bleeding. A week or so later it crusted over to what looked like just a regular 3D zit. But then when that layer shed off I was left with a hole in my face where the pore won't close! Does anyone know how to close this hole, or get rid of this? Any answers are appreciated. Even if it includes surgery, I will do/pay anything! I can not live with it like this!!!!!!

* And YES I know I was stupid for picking/poking at my face. I don't need anyone to remind me. What's done is done. We all pick and if you say you don't you're lying. It's like picking your nose. We all do it

I can't even sit right anymore. It has been there for about 2 weeks and mind me saying but I am a clean freak. I shower 3 times a day. I have gotten boils since the age of 13 in the same spot and the doctor drained it a few times before. This is annoying especially because it has never stopped occurring. I have already tried boil ease and it wirked a few times, but it isn't working anymore. I have sat in my tub for hours with epson salt and vinegar and it has soothed it, but hasn't solved the issue. Help!!! there must be someone there who can point me in the right direction. I appreciate your help. Please, this is not a laughing matter, I need good advice.

I eat healthy, I dont smoke, I dont drink. I only drink water. I take a vitamin every day. Also not on any drugs. I dont understand why I get pimples on my skin. I see no reason for it and need some ideas to get rid of it.

I was just about to start putting on makeup and realized that there was small red dots all under my eyes. My brother suggested that maybe its just an irritation but I'm still not sure since there's nothing that i put on in order to irritate it. I also noticed that there was just a small amout alittle bit lower and to the side where the top side of my nose is. I haven't been using my glasses for quite a while and I was wondering whether it had something to do with that.

I just read one of the answers to that 'rash under my breasts' question and one person suggested that it was a sweat allergy. That rash thing happened to me once when I started playing volleyball - I put powder under there and it eventually went away. Also, occasionally when I start to sweat, under my arms start to itch me. I mean once I had my arms up fixing my hair (so there was nothing rubbing against it to cause it to itch). My underarms are shaved by the way. Is there anything I can do about the underarm itching thing?

20 yrs ago he used to drink and do drugs excessively....is any of that related? We've tried vitamin E oil and lotions and creams on the skin, but nothing seems to help soften it for any length of time. Any suggestions??

My brother-in-law has a red, small bumpy rash over his entire body. It's the same consitancy all over the body. Could it be heat rash? We have looked at pic's on the Internet and can't seem to find pic that fits his description.

this is something ive head for a few months now. they kind of LOOK like warts but theyre on the exact same spot on both toes of my feet. its toward the inside knuckle of the big toe. kind of big..pink..kind of rough. dont know what to do..anyone had a similar experience that can tell me what to do? please if youre going to leave a flip immature answer to even bother. lets be mature about this, if you please.

These last two days my eye has swollen up, It feels like i've been punched and now is starting to look like i've been punched. It really hurts, don't know what it is or what caused it. Has anyone else ever had this? I just awoke one day and it was there...I can't apply my eyeshadow it's a disaster...i sound shallow but it does really hurt! ;-)

Do you think it would work if I stuck a syringe in my mosquito bite and sucked out the venom? Would it be safe?

have the rash recurring for about 6 -7 months now, antifungal creams or talcs not working. and it does have an odour. it goes away for 2-3 days and then comes back for 6-7 days
