What do you need to tell the doctor? If there is no sign on my skin, but I just want to make sure that everything is okay.

just get a yearly check up, and keep an eye out for any thing obvios or that isnt right

Yes, see a dermatologist. Simply tell the doctor that you want to be checked for skin cancer. The doctor knows the signs to look for that suggest skin cancer.

Yes. Make an appt. with a dermatologist for a skin check. They will know what you mean. You should do it twice a year. I have had skin cancer 3 times and I didn't know it. The Dr. had to find it.

Depending on what type of health insurance you have, your doctor may be a "gatekeeper'; and have to refer you to a specialist. If you have concerns, then you should do so right away. It's also good, even if you have nothing, for the dermatologist to get a 'baseline' view of your skin to detect any future changes.

Just make an appointment for a check up!
They will make you get naked and look all over to make sure nothing looks weird. It's kind of awkward, but very important. Just tell them you want a checkup.
