I would like help from people with experience, as in what worked for them. A few weeks ago I picked at my face. To make a long story short a blackhead left a hole (like a big open pore), now although its closed up I am left with a flat scar. Sort of looks like a small pock mark. What can I use non-perscription that will get rid of this scar.
Thanks!

I have this calloused area on my right big toe that's probably been there close to 6 months. At first I thought it was a wart, so I applied a wart remedy. However, when the medicine would get to the bottom of it, the "wart" would bleed & sting and I couldn't go any further. I'd let it go, and the stupid thing would grow back again.
The other day I was getting a pedicure & the nail tech said she'd work on my "big callous." She shaved it with one of those little razor-like thingees, and then buffed it, and it's much better, but I've had that done before and within weeks the stupid thing is huge again.
Do I have a wart or a callous? What can I do to get rid of it for good??

I am wondering if there are surgeons who do pro bono surgery for the extra skin hanging off the bottom of stomachs. I have 5 kids and am left with this horrible issue. It is forever infected and inflamed.

I get reoccurring reddish hives, more like red spots with no particular shapes all over my body; they come and go through out the day. I have visited the doctor several times and I am taking a lot of itch medication but I still have severe itching at night. This has been going on for a week now. I don’t know the cause or an effective treatment. Help!!!!!!

Hey, if anyone else has Keratosis Pilaris, maybe you could give me some advice. I have KP on my arms, thighs, shoulders, etc. It wouldn't bother me as much if there wasn't so much scarring; but I have been scratching the affected areas for quite a while, and now there are scabs/scarring to go along with the KP. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to treat KP fast, like any good exfoliants or creams? Or can anyone relate to this situation?

Every once in a while I'll get a bump, sometimes with puss inside, always painful, in areas where sweat collects over the day: between my thighs where they rub together, armpits, under my breasts, and under my fat roll (yeah, I said it...lol) on my sides at the breast level. Eventually they heal and go away but leave a red scar. How can I make these things go away quicker? They hurt!

The first time I experienced this rash, it was on my buttocks, & spread to cover an area about 8 inches across. The eruptions since that time can be as small as a single blister, about the size of the ball-point end of a pen, or they can be dozens of blisters. If more than one blister is present, they are clusters, not stripes of blisters (I have experienced poison ivy before also) It usually begins erupting around mid May or early-June, and continues for 5 months. The individual blisters take about 5 weeks to go away, but the area will remain red & flaky for another month or so.
I have tried various topical treatments, including calamine, benedryl lotion, cortisone creams (OTC & prescription strength) and triamcinolone creams. I have also taken a number of oral medications, including benadryl, claratin, cimetidine, atarax and others. Nothing has provided anything more than a minimal reduction in itchiness, nothing seems to speed the healing of the rash.

A friend went to the E.R. w/two hugh abcesses and immediately was admitted and had two surgeries. No one in the medical field could give a clear answer. She was told it had nothing to do w/hygeine (she is very clean). She was also told it was a staph infection. Just no clear answers. She is recovering nicely.
