Lately, I turn red on certain parts of my body when they are rubbed (ie. face, hands, arms, legs). I'm thinking it's a heat rash because usually putting a cold compress on the area helps ease the itch. Does anyone have any long term home remedies that might help with this "heat rash"?

Have you changed detergents or soaps lately? If so it could be the cause of your problem. I find that soaking in a lukewarm bath with a cup of baking soda, milk, buttermilk, cornstarch or vinegar helps soothe the skin and leaves you silky soft too. Witch Hazel applied with a cotton ball will ease the itch quickly. After it dries dust the area with cornstarch before getting dressed. Hope you feel better soon.

I was just reading the questions to my mom and when she
heard yours, she yelled Vinegar
She says that you should get some apple cider vinegar and
soak a washcloth in it and pat it on the heat rash. Or you
could add a cup of the vinegar to a lukewarm bath and soak.
She swears this works

I suggest that you take a bath in warm water with 1/4 cup of Baking Soda mixed in. Do that every day and dry yourself completely afterwards.
