I can't even sit right anymore. It has been there for about 2 weeks and mind me saying but I am a clean freak. I shower 3 times a day. I have gotten boils since the age of 13 in the same spot and the doctor drained it a few times before. This is annoying especially because it has never stopped occurring. I have already tried boil ease and it wirked a few times, but it isn't working anymore. I have sat in my tub for hours with epson salt and vinegar and it has soothed it, but hasn't solved the issue. Help!!! there must be someone there who can point me in the right direction. I appreciate your help. Please, this is not a laughing matter, I need good advice.

it's not an STD! I was not sexually active at 13.... I am 32 years old... the thing is that I get it on the exact same spot and it is usually every 2 to 3 months. It had never hurt this bad though.

What ever you don't try to pop it. As a homecare RN I have had to take care of people after they did that. The infection can actually be pushed back inside the body, and gets infected worst. You should go and get it lanced by the doctor, it's called an I & D, they will open the area and drain the wound. Sometimes it is necessay to pack the wound afterwards. You may need to be put on antibiotics too, incase you have an episode with cellulits. Cellulitis is when the cells die, because they can not get nutrients in or waste products out/ so they cells enlarge/ turn red/ get hard/ and become painful. The abtibiotic of choice for that is Keflex, it's cheap and works very well (cost under $20). See a Dr or go to ER to get checked out.

It might be that you wash so often you've killed the immune system of your skin.
I sure hope you don't use soap all 3 showers.
You also have a short of Vit C.
And if this specific boil keeps bothering you go see a Dermatologist.
It's obviously deep and never completely cleaned out.
No you're not dirty but a parasite decided to choose your body as it's habitat.
You'll call the police if your home was taken when you're on vacation, in this case the Dermatologist works like the police squad.
So wash a little less eat some extra fruits specially everything ending berry cause they are vitamin bullets.
And see a Dermatologist for this boil.
You can also purchase an EM-Pulse.

I would suggest a search engine and not these nincompoops. There are no Rocket Scientists here! Seriously a search engine and type in vaginal boils and see what you come up with. You might have to play around with the wording a bit but you will find some real answers out there as opposed to this crazy site! Good Luck.

It sounds like folliculitis- infection of the hair follicle. Do you shave? If you do that is probably why. A because we have staph on our skin and when we shave it increases the changes of it getting into the follice and B becuase when the hair grows back in it increases the chance of it becoming ingrown and your body tries to fight it so it becomes infected and painful. The only real way to take care of it is with and I&D (incision and drainage)... they will have to cut it open and release the infection. The reason they do this is becuase the blood no longer has access to the area so antibiotics will not work on it. It is probably not HPV as HPV causes no pain. You will need to go to your doc though! Good luck!

Oh and this has nothing to do with cleanliness at all. Showering will not prevent this. Don't think of yourself as dirty because of it. Try waxing if you do shave. It will be less likely unless it is an ingrown hair then there is nothing to really prevent that.

Never had a boil there, but have had a blister in that spot from the elastic on my underwear. Thats a hard spot to keep free of infection. Poke it with a sterile needle and treat it with peroxide several times a day. Use a bar of soap meant for acne prone skin to cleanse that area when you bathe.

Furuncles/carbuncles. Comes from shaving, causes infection of the hair follicles. Usually will appear in the exact same spot everytime. I notice when I sweat a lot mine come back. Very itchy boil.

It might be an HPV wart. Please get it checked out. The doctor can give you some stuff to "burn" or "freeze" off the wart, but you'll always be infected with HPV. You should also get regular Pap Smears to detect any abnormalities in the case that you have certain strains of HPV (HPV 16, 18, 30, etc) as some HPV infections increase the risk of cervical cancer.

i know this sounds gross, but my wife's aunt swears by putting a small piece of bacon on a boil overnight. She says it brings the core to the surface and when that's out the boil will heal.

I don't know about putting it down there however.

This might not actually be good advice, but when I had a boil I lanced it (poked it with a clean safety pin), drained it, then put a band-aid over it. The pain was really reduced after that.
