I want to donate my kidney to a young girl who's really sick.. I meet the age requirement, but my parents are strongly against it! They have told me off the entire day like I was doing something very evil and taboo.. Who do you think is right?? What should i say to convince them? Also when I'm donating my kidney, do i feel them taking it out? i mean is there pain? Do they put me to sleep? I'm a little apprehensive..

2 years later ..i'm still alone and more depressed than ever . I still don't have any type of love in my life ... and it seems as if I have nothing to live for. My forehead comes out ...and I have yet to encounter 1 (ONE) person who shares my problem. This is why I have no faith in God or believe there's a Jesus Christ .

And why should I ... Girls think i'm ugly and I know i'm ugly . Why would any girl bring home a big forehead freak to meet their parents . All I've been doing since 17 is find a new hat to get me thru the year while EVERYONE I know around me is doing bigger and better things. I have about 1000 dollars to my name since I don't work . GOD DAMN EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE . People are getting married , rich and having kids ..while me , the big forehead guy who lost his hair at 17 is still living at home with mom and ANGRY AND DEPRESSED .

I can't take this life anymore.. a life without love or any hope of love isn't worth living at all .

my 94 year old father had serious head trauma last winter when he slipped on the ice and hit his head on the concrete,he drove around for two months before having this checked out,he fell twice hitting the same spot,in that time he had a brain bleed and his exsisting dementia got worse until he was forced to go to the hospital by my brother.thats not the problem,we recently got a notice from the dmv to renew my dads license,i cant believe what my brother said,oh he could drive, theres nothing wrong with him now,hes been told by two doctors including the neurosergeon, not to drive anymore! this is a recipe for an accident if my father gets behind the wheel! whats your opinion???

anyone know if IBS affects milk supply?>
Question Details: I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. So badly that I've lost a TUN of weight. Before I got pregnant I dropped down to 107. I had sch a hard time gaining weight durring my pregnacy that the doctors threatened to put me on steriods. Well, glad to say the birth went well and my son is healthy. but as much as it pains me, we had to put him on formula because I can't produce enough milk (probably because I have such a hard time getting food down). I'm on lactation vitamins and drink a lot of water. I'm back to 120 pounds, so I'm not realy underweight anymore. But I was wondering if anyone else w/ IBS had the same issue and if so what to do about it?

I know I probs sound a little fussy but every once in a long while I space out and when I become aware of my surroundings again I feel nauseous and dizzy. For a brief time I forget exactly what I am doing. It only lasts a minute - 5 minutes but I'm just a little worried thats all. Does anyone know what it could be? Or am I just worried over nothing?

I have Crohn's Disease and Coltis. I'm 15 years old, and i find it extremely difficult to deal with these diseases. The worst part is, is that have to take 12 pills a day, plus iron supplements. I can barely swallow these pills! I've always struggled with taking pills, and i have no choice but to take them. I'm never going to get better if i don't get them down. It takes me literally 15 minutes to swallow 2, and i always gag and feel nausea afterwards. Anyone have any good advice on how to swallow pills easily?! Thanks!

He was taken into the E.R. with no known medical conditions. When he arrived he had a blood sugar level of 2133.Yes,I know that sounds impossible but it is true. His pancreas gave out, which led all the bad toxins to destroy 2.5 feet of his intestine, not to mention his kidneys failed. It has been one week today that he had the surgery. He has finally had the breathing tube removed and can talk.all he talks about is how we need to be there to see him asap because we will never see him again.i dont know if he is giving up or just being a 'bad, miserable' patient.obviously he has gone through a lot and is very lucky to be alive.all my friends and family are asking me if his chances are good, and i dont know what to say.i have no clue and am not being told much by the dr's and nurses.my mom lost her first husband to cancer (my real father), her middle son to a heart condition at age 4,and if she loses him, i dont know what will happen.has anyone heard of cases like this w/survivors?

ok, i'm 18 and in college, so this is kinda new to me. i have eaten a lot of pumpkin seed the last 2 days, and i realized that i have a case of constipation, so i've stopped eating the seeds. but today, when i went to the bathroom, i found that my feces had dark red spots of blood along the surface. so my question is this: do you think it was just from the constipation, or should i call my doctor?
